My project "Finding 27: A New York CIty Journey," is a finalist in the "Undiscovered Letter" competition sponsored by the Art Director's Club and Moleskin, maker of the cool leather journals that I've used for years. The open-ended competition encouraged us to create a 27th letter of the alphabet. It was open exclusively to past winners of the ADC Young Guns Award, which I received for my work on the book "Taxi Driver Wisdom." The Young Guns Competition was established in 1996 to recognize "the most exciting young talent in advertising, design, video, interactive and other forms of media and visual communications."
The 27 finalists' works will be displayed in a virtual, public exhibition and some will also appear in a limited edition Moleskin notebook. Details to follow...click the link above to get info on the party celebrating the project.
